First State FOOLS will be sponsoring a 9/11 rememberance walk at Delcastle Recreation Park-On Mc Kennan's Church Rd-NCC beginning at 5pm with registration at 4pm. 343 Miles for 343 Fallen Brothers-Never Forget! A portion of all money raised will benefit the National Fallen Firefighter's Foundation. Entry fee: $10 per adult 12 years or older, $5 for children under 12. Event t-shirts will be given to all participants and light refreshments will be provided. Post race celebration at CP Goodwin's-Kirkwood Square. |

1st ANNUAL FIRST STATE FOOLS PUMPER PULL!! Saturday October 23rd, 2010 1pm EST Parking lot of the Belvedere Fire Company, Wilmington, DE Entry fee is $100 for a 5 person team. Limited to the first 32 teams. The contest challenges five-person teams to use their strength and agility to pull a fire engine a designated distance (25 FEET) for bets overall time during two separate heats. The team with the fastest total time will be awarded $25 Visa gift cards. Other awards and prizes award to the 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Teams may be unisex All participants receive a 2010 Pumper Pull t-shirt The Pumper Pull is open to any group. First State FOOLS Pumper Pull 2010 spectators are invited to watch and cheer on their favorite team free of charge. Vendors will be on site with various food and drinks for sale. This fundraising event is benefiting the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF). Christiana Fire Company brings back the areas best Texas Hold’em tournament with Premier Poker. June 11, 2010. Doors open at 6pm. Game begins at 7:15. $150 buy in with 2 $25 add ons. 1st place pays out up to $5000 depending on participation. Complimentary buffet (provided by Starlight Catering), beer, wine and soda provided for tournament players. Low cost mixed drinks. Satellite tables after the tournament and open cash games in a separate room. Participants must be 21 years old to enter tournament and 18 years old to enter cash games. Photo ID is required.
